Air Conditioning Regas Croydon –
Stay Cool This Summer.
Is your car AC blowing warm air? Don't suffer through another hot drive. Our expert Croydon technicians regas and service all vehicle AC systems — fast, affordable, and guaranteed cold.
Is Your Car Air Con Struggling?
Warm or Weak Air from Vents
The most obvious sign — if your AC blows warm or lukewarm air, refrigerant levels are likely low and a regas is needed.
AC Only Works at High Fan Speed
Reduced airflow at lower fan settings often points to a blocked cabin filter or a partially failing blower motor.
Musty or Unpleasant Smell
Mould and bacteria can build up inside the evaporator. Our antibacterial treatment eliminates odours at the source.
AC Takes Long to Cool Down
If it takes 10+ minutes to cool your cabin, your refrigerant charge is likely depleted and the system needs regassing.
Unusual Noises When AC is On
Clicking, rattling, or squealing when the AC is switched on may indicate a failing compressor clutch or belt issue.
Condensation or Water Inside Cabin
Water on the footwell or under the dashboard can indicate a blocked drain from the evaporator housing.

Using UV dye and specialist equipment we locate refrigerant leaks in hoses, compressors, condensers, and evaporators before they cause costly damage.

Car Air Conditioning Regas in Croydon & South London
When summer arrives and your car's air conditioning starts blowing warm air, there's a simple reason — and a simple fix. Most vehicles simply need an AC regas in Croydon to restore ice-cold performance. At Eco Drive Garage, we regas and fully service car air conditioning systems for drivers across Croydon and South London, starting from just £49.
Air conditioning systems lose refrigerant naturally over time — even without a leak. Industry experts recommend regassing every two to three years, but most drivers only notice the problem when their car air con stops working on the hottest day of the year. If you're in East Croydon, South Croydon, or West Croydon and your vents are blowing warm, book your regas today and we'll have it sorted within the hour.
Our technicians are certified to handle both R134a and R1234yf refrigerants — the two types used in modern vehicles. We first inspect your system for leaks using UV dye and pressure testing equipment, so you're not wasting money regassing a system that will lose its charge again within days. Any leaks found are quoted transparently before we proceed.
Drivers from Purley, Coulsdon, and Thornton Heath make use of our free vehicle collection service — we'll pick up your car, perform the regas and any additional AC work needed, and return it to you, often on the same day. It's the most convenient car AC service near Croydon available.
Beyond the basic air con recharge, we also offer cabin filter replacements, antibacterial AC treatments to eliminate that musty smell, and full AC compressor diagnostics. These additional services keep your climate system healthy year-round — not just in summer. Many customers from Addiscombe and Waddon combine their annual service with an AC health check to avoid unexpected issues.
We're also one of the few independent garages in Croydon experienced with hybrid and electric vehicle air conditioning systems. Whether your car runs on petrol, diesel, or electricity, our team has the tools and knowledge to service your climate system correctly.
Don't wait until the heatwave is in full swing. If you're searching for air conditioning regas near me in Croydon, Eco Drive Garage is your local solution. Call us on 07348 584 774 or book online for a same-day or next-day appointment.
